Good morning everyone!
My friend recently bought me the Visual Novel Busts plugin as a early Christmas present!
I've been tinkering around with it this morning and I'm pretty pleased, but there's an issue that messes a bit with my game's aesthetic. (Note that the bust sprite art and the map itself are pretty messy.)
So! The bust is hiding behind the border (which is not the goal). I plan on having borders throughout my game to relieve some of the map space and give a cool "objects overhead" look that I saw when I played Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. I really want to be able to keep the border idea.
Right now, the border is a "Show Picture" event. The Number in this screenshot is 1, but it seems to not do anything when I changed it to lower numbers like 50 and 100. Other options in Show Picture were untouched. The event it is in is set to "Above Characters" but changing it to "Same as character" and "Below Character" didn't change how the bust appeared either.
Another friend suggested changing the priority of the bust but I'm not sure how to go about that. If anyone has any ideas let me know! I really want to use my friend's gift.
