How do I add icons to my profile?

The built-in icon picker is available with the MyPics layout.

Use the MyPics Icons picker

1. Open Log in to my profile and select Customize Profile.
2. Choose MyPics under Profile Template.
3. Find the Short Bio (3 lines max) box.
4. Select the Icons button, whose tooltip says “Add a smiley, symbol, or flag.”
5. Search or browse the picker, choose an icon, then select Save Settings.

All available icon groups

The current picker contains 174 base icons in these nine groups:

• Smileys & People: 49 icons
• Hand Gestures: 26 icons
• Animals & Nature: 16 icons
• Food & Drink: 12 icons
• Activities: 14 icons
• Travel & Places: 10 icons
• Objects: 12 icons
• Symbols: 22 icons
• Flags: 13 icons

The picker also provides six skin-tone choices: default, light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, and dark. Use its search box to find any icon by name or subject; the picker is the complete visual list and stays current if new icons are added later.

The Short Bio (3 lines max) box is plain text, limited to three lines and 240 characters; HTML tags will not render there.

On MyPlanet, you can paste ordinary emoji directly into About Me (HTML). HTML icon libraries that require a class attribute are not supported because custom classes are removed.
