BMMPLAY Privacy Policy

Version 2026-08-12.1 | Effective 2026-08-12

Overview

BMMPLAY respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you. The service is operated by BMPGAMES, a trade name registered in New Hampshire (Business ID 938789).

Information we process

  • Account and profile information, settings, login and security records.
  • Posts, messages, media, comments, family-tree entries, seller listings, purchases, support requests, and reports.
  • BmmPoints and feature-usage records.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location, cookies, request logs, and security events.
  • Yalp prompts, generated responses, feedback, and the public activity context needed to answer.

Why we use information

  • Provide accounts, community features, uploads, family trees, marketplace functions, payments, rewards, support, and security.
  • Remember preferences, prevent abuse, investigate reports, enforce rules, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Measure and improve service reliability and communicate account or service information.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers only for functions needed to operate BMMPLAY. The currently confirmed provider inventory is: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery); Microsoft Azure (translation); Google (sign-in and analytics); GIPHY (GIF search and media); PayPal (payment processing); and TikTok, Yahoo, and LinkedIn when a member chooses the corresponding optional social sign-in. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a properly managed business transaction. We do not describe member information as sold unless an actual data practice and applicable law require that description.

Cookies and similar technology

Necessary technologies support login, security, carts, saved preferences, and core operation. Any active nonessential analytics or advertising choices are described in the Cookie and Tracking Notice.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, complete transactions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. Information is deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed, subject to limited backup, fraud-prevention, security, transaction, and legal records. We may retain limited records longer when reasonably needed for security, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or enforcement.

Your choices and requests

You can update account and privacy settings and may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or an applicable opt-out through the BMMPLAY privacy-request form. We may verify identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained or excluded when permitted or required by law.

Children

BMMPLAY does not permit account creation by children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13. If we learn that an under-13 child provided personal information through an account, we will review and take appropriate action, which may include deletion.

Security and updates

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise complete security. We will post a revised version and effective date when this policy changes materially and seek renewed agreement when required.
