How do I use an authenticator app for two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) asks for a current authenticator-app code after the normal Bmmplay sign-in. It protects accounts even when a password is exposed.
What to do
- Log in with your username or email and password, or use your connected Google sign-in.
- When the Two-Factor Authentication card appears, open the authenticator app connected to your Bmmplay account.
- Enter the current 6-digit code and select Verify and Log In.
- If the authenticator device is unavailable, enter one unused recovery code in the same field.
- After you regain access, open Account settings and choose Two-Factor Auth to regenerate recovery codes or update your protection.
Good to know: Authenticator codes expire quickly. Make sure your device uses automatic date and time, and never send a code, recovery code, setup key, or password to another person.
