Should I use a username or my real name?
Bmmplay is username-first. We encourage a memorable username, artist name, or stage name. Your own real name is welcome, but it is not required as your public display name.
What to do
- Choose a distinctive name that other members can recognize.
- Use a real name, stage name, brand identity, photos, or biography only when they belong to you or you are authorized to use them.
- Clearly label fan, parody, commentary, or tribute accounts in both the display name and profile description, and do not make the account look official.
- Do not copy another person’s profile presentation or imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.
- Report a deceptive profile through Report a Concern. Bmmplay may privately request proof of identity, authorization, trademark, or other applicable rights before acting.
Good to know: A username is provided as part of the Bmmplay service and is not permanent property. After review, Bmmplay may rename, suspend, or delete a deceptive account and may release or reassign a username to a verified person, organization, or authorized representative. Members can appeal moderation decisions through support.
