a few days ago i made a custom title screen through eventing, and now i've finally gotten to the part where i actually need to add the option to go to the title screen in the main menu
i set up a common event that's supposed to disable the weather effects on the map and fade out using tint screen, yet for some reason, the tint screen command is completely ignored by the game
i did some alterations to the common event to make it actually change the tint yet it didn't appear to work
Protected download
this is the event that is supposed to disable the weather effects, the switch it enables simply leads to an empty event page
Protected download
and this is what the weather event pages look like, each one is identical minus a different tint and the occasional set weather effect command
what am i doing wrong here? why isn't the tint screen command working in the common event?
