Hello, I've been having some difficulty understanding a plugin I purchased so the amount of help here is probably going to be limited due to the paywall, now I've left comments seeking help on Itchio and numerous discord servers but no one has responded so I've resorted to the forums.

kotc-optimized-pathfinding-system

The plugin given from the video demonstration seems pretty solid, path finding done right- optimized for large maps and numerous events with many unique methods of getting to point A to point B. Given the amount of time I've spend researching about available plugins with path finding this seems like the best one for my goals so far. If I can't get anywhere with this one I'll have to commission a custom plugin.

The issue I am having is that the events aren't at all much better than the terrible default path finding in MZ, given how much this plugin praises itself for intelligent path finding it sure likes to get itself stuck a lot.
I've commanded the event to seek out an accessible map edge-

KoTCPathfindToFarMapEdge(this._eventId);



Very rarely it navigates itself to an edge but majority of the time it will randomly stop itself and then seek a different tile to randomly stop at. I've even commanded it to set it's event location back to it's origin point when it completes it's move route but it's not actually completing it because it's not reaching the edges majority of the time.



Am I doing something wrong or am I completely misunderstanding the context of this plugin?

Another issue I am running into is region restrictions, according to the plugin 'Yanfly Region restrictions' is applicable but that is for RPG Maker MV not MZ ( I am using MZ and I will not be using Yanfly along with it's core plugins -yes I have tested this )

If anyone can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
