So, this started when we ran into an issue with VisuStella's Battle Core wherein no matter what battle layout we chose, the names of the commands in the command window for both the party commands and individual actor commands all were blank.

Full disclosure, the "This is the attack command" message is a tooltip window generated by Help Windows, the pixel font there is from Bitmap Font Pro, and (not shown in this image, but) the actor portraits are animated by Faces Reaction, all three of which are plugins by the absolutely amazing @Eliaquim . These plugins are all doing things that add or adjust things in the battle window, so at first it seemed like a very reasonable assumption that one of them was causing compatibility issues somehow.

But it wasn't them. We tried turning all of those (and more!) off, and the problem persisted.

No, when we finally isolated the problem, it turned out it was a plugin that's causing this issue when it and VisuStella Battle Core are on at the same time, but it wasn't any of those. It was... Message Actions.

Which... wait what? Seriously?? Mess-... Message Actions. Why Message Actions?? Message Actions doesn't even do anything remotely related to the battle layout. Literally all it does is add more escape codes so that one can do things like /ALIGN to left/center/right-justify text or things like that. Why would it mix with VisuStella Battle Core in a way that blanks out the commands?

And yet, that's what's happening. We confirmed this by disabling Message Actions and leaving every other plugin in our loadout on... it works fine. Tried running only VisuStella Battle Core and Message Commands with every single other plugin except for their respective cores (VisuStella's tier 0 Core Engine and Eli Book) disabled... just those four alone made the command blanking happen again. Reordering them hasn't fixed anything, at least in any of the order configurations we've tried.

The only thing I can figure is maybe one of the default names for one of the escape codes Message Actions creates collides with one of the variable names somewhere in Battle Core somewhere... because if it's not that, then I'm at a complete loss what any of these plugins (or their prerequisite cores) have to do with each other, and why they would be causing this issue when mixed together. Especially when the ones you would think are standing closer to what Battle Core actually does and thus might cause a collision of some sort (Help Windows, Bitmap Font Pro, Faces Reaction, etc.) all work just fine.

Much thanks and appreciation for any help or ideas anyone can suggest!
