MV TileD map maker plugin error help

I'm not sure where to post this but here I go.
I'm using the TileD plugin for RPGMAKER MV and keep getting this error when trying to make a map with tiles from another tile set. I should add I'm using the template project provided on the itch.io page: https://archeia.itch.io/tiled-plugin-for-rpg-maker-mv
These are the errors that appear in the console:
The map itself is nothing special, just a single test tile filled in.
This error only happens when I try to edit a pre-made test map provided by the plugin; when I create a brand new map, something else happens:
The map doesn't scale properly and the player is stuck in place, however, can turn in all directions. (The room has no events in it.)
Hopefully, enough people use this plugin to figure out what is happening?
