Summary
Pieces of individual characters will be invisible or discolored, making the text hard-to-impossible to read. Sometimes it's just small pieces here and there, sometimes it's a lot. Sometimes it only affects the save/load menu, sometimes it affects the in-game menus and options screens, and sometimes it affects the text boxes during play. I don't think I can recall it ever happening on the main menu. This only happens to me with RPGM MV games, not VX or XP, and not anywhere else on my computer. I've asked in other places,...

Sometimes it only affects the save/load menu, sometimes it affects the in-game menus and options screens, and sometimes it affects the text boxes during play. I don't think I can recall it ever happening on the main menu.
This only happens to me with RPGM MV games, not VX or XP, and not anywhere else on my computer. I've asked in other places, and nobody knew what this was. It's also not every MV game, but it's happened with several of them.
Usually, the games start out running fine, but then if I close the game and start it up again later, the problem suddenly appears. Sometimes I can fix it by deleting and reinstalling the game, but the problem returns eventually.
