Hey! ... I know. Another resolution and fullscreen thread. But I've been going mad about this I've been making my game at the resolution of 1920x1080. Which i thought was fine... but after actually making some art for it I've realised that everything is tiny. Apart from all the UI elements which look ok. I've been making my game at the resolution of 1920x1080. Which i thought was fine... but after actually making some art for it I've realised that everything is tiny. Apart from all the UI elements which look ok. But the characters are so small and the maps are so open revealing everything which isn’t ideal :/
So i made my resolution 1280x720 Which actually seems to be a better fit. Then i had to search around because my maps became all blurry when it was in fullscreen due to the scaling. But i found a thread which fixes this issue. But then all the UI is horrible and blurry Which makes me think i want to stick to 1920x1080. But it just doesn't feel right when walking around the levels in game. Maybe i just need to fix the UI and battle screens to now work with 1280x720? (I think I’m answering my own question )
I'm just wondering what everyone else does for their projects with MV? Are people aiming their game to be played at widescreen resolutions?
You can see in these examples below that everything is so crisp and sharp. I want to be able to achieve this quality. It looks like these games must use an upscaling method.
