Summary
After using RPG Maker XP for over a decade, I decided to finally get with the times and buy MV on Steam. Sadly, I ran into a problem on the first 10 minutes. * I am not using any plugins. I literally just bought the program, I didn't touch anything. * I didn't find the issue anywhere else on the forums... or anywhere, for that matter. Google search came up with nothing. * Bug explanation:

* I am not using any plugins. I literally just bought the program, I didn't touch anything.
* I didn't find the issue anywhere else on the forums... or anywhere, for that matter. Google search came up with nothing.
* Bug explanation:
There was no response when I pressed the Playtest button. When I closed the program and reopened it from the project's folder, I pressed the Playtest button again, but this time I got the following error:
If I try to launch the Game.exe file from the directory above, I get a similar error.
* Nothing happens when I press F8...
* Recreate this by simply Testrunning the game, though I'm pretty sure it's only me.
* Sample Project. It's literally just a new project (except I deleted pretty much everything to reduce its size), but the bug reporting template explicitly said "If you do not attach a sample project to the bug report, your bug report WILL BE ignored" and "There are NO exceptions". Like damn, I ain't messing with that
For the record, I DID try creating several new projects. They all have the same problem.
Any help will be appreciated.
