Summary

So ive been trying to figure out why this is happening for the last 6-7 hours now and i have no idea at all. Its only MV games that this happens too, VX and all that works fine. So what happens is when i double click the game to open it it goes into the game window but instead of the game it shows me my file directory where its located as shown in the attached picture. I have also reinstalled windows just to make sure but that still didn't...

So ive been trying to figure out why this is happening for the last 6-7 hours now and i have no idea at all. Its only MV games that this happens too, VX and all that works fine. I have also reinstalled windows just to make sure but that still didn't fix it and i cant find any answers anywhere. Also my directory for most of my games is on my desktop so there shouldn't be any permissions issues.
