Hello! Obligatory this is my first time posting and I am very new to RPG Maker; I hope this is the correct thread for this kind of question. I am using RPG Maker VX Ace and I am attempting the One Map Challenge using the free version of this tileset: Serene Village Revamped and Modern Interiors for the character sprites by Limezu
My first problem is that when I place tiles from the folder, the supposedly translucent parts end up showing the black and blue (or white and gold depending on the lighting—this is a joke) parts, as seen in this image:
The file itself is a PNG so I'm assuming it has to be something on my end. Here is what the tileset looks like in the dataset (maybe the error is here?):
The other issue is that when I imported the same creator's character sprite sheet from another pack they made (modern interiors), the character ended up being way bigger relative to the tilesets provided (see image below). I tried looking through the comments or for a guide, but to no avail. Also i included a picture of what it is supposed to look like according to the creator
