Hi Everyone!


Been lurking these forums for a few weeks since I downloaded MV, but I just got stumped for the first time, and I'm hoping someone can help me out. I can't figure out how to trigger the 2nd half of my cutscene - can anyone point out what I might be doing wrong? Hopefully I can explain what I've set up clearly enough that other people can troubleshoot.


First, I have these villains here, who are set up not to exist until 1/2 way through the cutscene. I used a switch to activate them, like so.

Second, I have two spaces that flip a switch the first time a player walks on either one of them. That switch triggers the 1st half of the cutscene.

Third, the cutscene starts. The first half of it triggers fine, and moves the player, but here's where the problem starts.

I set Leave city pt 2 = On, which is supposed to make the villains appear, and start the 2nd half of the cutscene. The villains appear, but, the cutscene below never starts.Protected download


I've tried activating it a few different ways, including merging the two halves of the cutscene into one and making the villains appear by changing their transparency, but the scene always stops at the part where I try to move Villain and Soldier 1. Is there something extra I need to do before I can make my event move another event? I'm at a bit of a loss for what to try next. Any help would be much appreciated.
