Summary

I've been working on this all night and can't figure it out. I just tried a clean install, following the instructions for updating my project at first with no plugins except the "madewithmv" plugin, and then I used a totally new project file. I can't get conditional branch events to function at all in the troop event pages. I can get text to show up when it snot conditional, but I can't get anything else to process from the event. I've been working on this all night and can't figure it out. I just tried a clean install, following the instructions for updating my project at first with no plugins except the "madewithmv" plugin, and then I used a totally new project file.

I can't get conditional branch events to function at all in the troop event pages. I can get text to show up when it snot conditional, but I can't get anything else to process from the event.

For example 



In the first image, you see that all should happen is a message appearing with the phrase "captured". The character has an attack that applies a state "captured" which literally has no effect other than to put the enemy in the state "captured" (so that I can test it, later on there will be effects of course).

Now if I just have a show text command there with no conditional window, the text appears during the battle as expected (at turn 0)

I have been working on this for hours and hours tonight and I just want to know if anyone else is having this issue, or can reproduce this issue.
