I have been using RPG Maker MV for a month now, and I'm still pretty new to it. But there is this fancy thing I really want to do: interior doors.
Now, my partner in this project wants the players to be unable to see inside the room, and his solution for it is making an entirely new map just for that certain room, and, you guess it, it will create so much clutter and unnecessary work for less important maps.
At this moment in time, I already have something like this
Protected download
And, within the game, will look something like this:
Protected download
But, I want to take things one step further. I want a way to make the interior of the room covered up before the player character walks in, without transferring them into another map.
Is there any way I can do this effectively and, preferably, without scripting knowledge?
Appreciate you guys' help,
Eloste.
