Summary
I've run into a problem that essentially makes the game unplayable, and not one thing I have tried has fixed it. I don't even know what made it happen, and it only occurs on one map and one map only. Basically, no "player touch" event--whether a transfer or anything else--will trigger unless the priority is set to "same as characters". This is a problem for transfers in particular; I'm using Victor Engine's Pixel Movement script (which, to this date, has NEVER given me this problem before, ever, so I don't...

Basically, no "player touch" event--whether a transfer or anything else--will trigger unless the priority is set to "same as characters". This is a problem for transfers in particular; I'm using Victor Engine's Pixel Movement script (which, to this date, has NEVER given me this problem before, ever, so I don't think it's the culprit), which means if I set a transfer to "same as" and have it send me to another map (in this case, a stair tile that leads to a second floor, where below priority DOES WORK) then take the stairs back (with the destination from the second floor transfer set to the stair tile on the first, where the transfer there is)... one single step triggers the "same as" transfer, sending me back to the second floor. So no, just setting all events on that map to "same as characters" is not an option.
I am going absolutely BONKERS here. I have no clue what to do. Could someone please help me before I lose my mind?
Here's the link to my project; the map in question is "RemiaPalaceF1F".
