I'm new to the program (new as in I purchased it years ago and only now decided to try learning it) and I have found that the best way for me to learn things is by looking at a completed project ("things" such as how to make cutscenes and specific events and stuff). So I was hoping that I could open up the sample games from here - http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/sample-games - and open their files from RPG Maker. I haven't been able to figure out how to open them so I was wondering if it was even possible and if so how I would do it.

Note that I'm terrible at writing forum posts so bear with me.
