Hello! I'm having trouble with a pretty simple event. I want my character to change into a different set of clothes in an event. What I did was I have the screen fadeout, then perform a common event called wardrobe change where I just add a member to the group that looks exactly like the character but different clothes, then remove the old one, then transfer him to a copy of the map(so i dont have the autorun and other events) while the screen is black, then it fades back in. It...

Hello!


I'm having trouble with a pretty simple event. I want my character to change into a different set of clothes in an event. What I did was I have the screen fadeout, then perform a common event called wardrobe change where I just add a member to the group that looks exactly like the character but different clothes, then remove the old one, then transfer him to a copy of the map(so i dont have the autorun and other events) while the screen is black, then it fades back in. It all works, except when I gain control of my character again, it's movement is all messed up like it wont register certain directions and seems like the direction input is lagged or something. Thoughts?
