MV 1.3.0 Bug Report - Transfer Player Fading Black/White Issue
[*]Sample Project: This is the link
I hope that this can be easily be resolved!
- Plugins Used?: While I use plugins on my current project, a brand new project with no plugins results in the same bug (As is the situation with the attached project).
- Already Reported?:It seems as if this may be connected with a memory leak when transferring between maps which was mentioned by someone in the 1.3.0 release post, but no one has said anything about the fading issue.
- Bug Explanation: When using Transfer Player, fading works properly the first time, but if you activate another Transfer Player with a different fading (I.E. first black, then white), then it bugs out, "splitting in half" the fade into both the previously used fade and the new fade. Example sequence as seen in the attached sample project:
Event transfers player with fade set to black (Works properly)
- New event transfers player with fade set to white (fades out with black, then fades in with white on new map)
- Same event as in #1 transfers player with fade set to black (fades out with white, then fades in with black on new map)
- Repeats.
- Error Report: no errors occur in the console.
- Replication Steps:
Make 2 events (either on the same map or 2 different maps, bug occurs either way)
1st event has "Transfer Player" with fade set to Black
- 2nd event has "Transfer Player" with fade set to White
- Set the transfer coordinates on either transfer anywhere that gives access to the other event.
- Set event to any Trigger
- Interact with events in-game, alternating between the two different events.
