Summary
I'm unsure if I'm asking for features outside of MV's capability. I'm having trouble finding a plugin that would allow me to format larger sprite sheets for use in my game. Also was looking for a plugin that would allow me to use a large number of footstep sounds, with a randomizer. For instance if the character was on a metal surface, I would want a number of footstep samples that would play randomly

Also was looking for a plugin that would allow me to use a large number of footstep sounds, with a randomizer.
For instance if the character was on a metal surface, I would want a number of footstep samples that would play randomly
when the characters foot hits the metal surface.
I imagine the footsteps, would require me to tell MV somehow what kind of material each floor tile is.
Then I would need to tell MV what type of footstep each sound file is.
These are both very important features for me... perhaps I will need to use game maker? I would like to try MV though...
I could settle on just having all floor tiles being the same material in the game since it's a small game.
So just have 3-7 footstep sounds in total to play randomly.
Would save a lot of time.
