Summary

I just deployed and placed a new RMMV project (updated to RMMV 1.2.0) on my Android phone, a Galaxy S5, a fast phone, but there's some lag going on. There's almost nothing in the project; all I'm testing is walking left and right, but there's some noticeable lag. I think the frame rate stays consistent, but when it lags it stays stuck on a frame and then skips a few to catch up with where the game's at (well, you know what lag is). SIDE-QUESTION! How can we successfully compress images for RMMV? It doesn't allow the use of *.jpgs, so just the simple parallax background in the project is easily 2 MB. I know you can change *.png to "indexed color", but that is not a good option; it can make the images look really horrible. Any other ways to cut down file size?
