Sorry for my bad english Im normaly don't use english Hello there. Im making on a game. In my game we have 4 main actors one of them is an Assassin. What is my problem?

Hello there.
Im making on a game. In my game we have 4 main actors one of them is an Assassin.
What is my problem?
my problem is I have made a item and give it to my Assassin when he have the item on he will go stealth mode. This part works fine.
It's if i chance to another actor after the game have seen my assassin as first position they all is in stealth mode until I take the item of him. what I need is if my Assassin have the item equipt he is the only one in stealth mode if you chance between them the event shall be set to standbye until you choose him again or take the item of him.
