Summary

So I have my first event play where the character is not supposed to move.  Then it transfers the player to a new map where they are supposed to move.  But they won't move and can't even open the menu or anything. What am I missing? I've trying putting the "control-self switch a = on" in multiple places in the event, and even tried making it its own event that started once the player was in the new map but nothing works. Help please? {
