Summary

I want to know what the easiest way to make a puzzle is. The puzzle I want to make is that there are 4 orbs, one north, south, east, and west. What I want is the user to pick a letter from four choices (A,B,X,Y) at each orb. Like X on North, Y on the West, A to the South, and B to the East, in that order. The user has to do it in that order or the puzzle resets.

I have no idea where to begin with this so any help would be great! I will explain further if this isn't clear.
