A user has notified me of a way to fix the sound lag that some people are experiencing. For those who are experiencing sound issues, please do the following steps and tell us the results!
 
1. Make a new project. 
2. Load Preload Manager in Plugin Manager.
3. Load this in Plugin Manager and make sure it's UNDER the Preload Manager.
4. Your plugin manager should look like this:

5. Tell us if this has fixed your issue or improved it significantly.
