Summary

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong with the poison.  I use the item on the enemies and it does some damage and then nothing afterwards. Can someone help me with this? I've added a pic to show the problem. here is the state. I've added a pic of the enemy in question. I increased hp by 3000 made no difference.
