Hello, all! I hope that this support question is in the right place. If it isn't, my deepest apologies. I'm going to try to explain my dilemma in the best way I can. I am looking at how to lay bombs on the overworld map through events. I'd like to have it where you set a bomb, and after a brief period, it explodes. The bomb can either explode by a breakable wall to reveal a hidden path, or if an enemy is near by, it will trigger a preemptive strike battle.
So, I thought after toying around with the events, that I was on the right track. I can press the button, and the bomb will explode one tile in front of the player's position. but for some reason, I can not get the explosion to interact with a wall or other event. What am I doing wrong? Why won't the bomb blow up the wall? I've attached some images to show my event setup.
I've done all sorts of things in RPG Maker over the years, but this is just confusing me. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be EXTREMELY appreciated. If anything should need clarification, I will be glad to clarify! Thank you in advance for the help!!
