Need some help. I'm doing a cut scene where this character is bleeding on the floor and says something if you talk to him, so I have an event using his damaged sprite as the graphic. I thus also have the event triggered by "action button." The problem is, for some reason, when I test it out, when the player presses the action button, the text box comes up like it should....except the event image disappears! and then reappears after the text box is done. Attached are three screenshots - what it looks before and after the event is triggered (graphic is there), what it looks like during the event is triggered (graphic is gone), and then the actual event page that I set up. Help would be much appreciated.
-edit- oh god...after more testing, i've noticed that for some reason, the event functions normally if the player is BELOW the event. if the player approaches from the left, right, or above, it bugs out like this.
