Summary
hii!! im currently using rpg maker vx ace to make a game similar to a mix of harvest moon && pokemon (using pokemon resources as well as my own stuff) and i'm currently trying to get the garden to work with a series of switches and variables! i want to make it so when you first spawn onto the map there are plants readily available. you can then pick the berries and replant seeds in the same spot to grow more! this is what i have so far (in screenshots)...

Protected downloadProtected downloadProtected download the first three are the event i have so far and the fourth one is an event i have running in the background to make sure the plant appears when you spawn onto the map.
i have seeds and a spraybottle as items, if that helps at all. i know i have to add in something on the second screen to take away a redberry seed every time i plant one, but that isn't the issue at hand. right now when i spawn onto the map the plant is there and i can pick the berries. then i can plant another one and water it, but once i water it it won't grow into a plant again. how can i do this successfully? thank you in advance for the help!!
