Summary

Whenever I use the transport player on the current map I am using, it crashes my game. It's the most basic of features, so I do not know why it has any problems. Everything else is working smoothly. I set up a staircase, and when the player walks on the graphic, it attempts to take them to the other map, but instead in ends up just crashing the test gameplay feature.

Originally, I had it all on one giant map, so that I would just re-locate them from one spot of the map to the other, but I ended up making sub-maps to see if that would fix the problem and it didn't.

The only code I have for the transfer player event is Play SE, and then transfer player. It has no graphic, but it is placed overtop of a staircase tile. It is activated by player touch, and priority is 'below character'. All it does is attempt to fade out, not fully, and then crashes.

Another thing that is happening is that, when I place the character in another part of the building or outdoors leading into the building, using the same transfer player event, with the same exact specs minus the co-ordinates, Sometimes the tiles from the previous map carry over with the character, making the screen look glitched, yet still functional.

I do have a lot of scripts, but they have not yet been an issue and I've already made a far more elaborate scene before this scene that required far more analysis and hammering out little errors here and there. So, how a basic transfer player is causing so much problems is making me want to throw my computer, yet I am surprised I could not yet find a forum post or google'd related issue that actually aims towards fixing this particular seemingly simplistic faf of an error.

Please help and thanks!!

I've attached a screenshot of the scripts I have installed, that have not been an issue for my far more advanced scene, as well as a screenshot of the transfer event.
