The "[SV} Battler" sprite is invisible during side view battles?

Summary
So I was porting an old project across from RPG Maker VX ACE, and I decided that the side view battle looked better than front view - so I changed the setting. For some reason, the Battler is invisible. But only during gameplay... For some reason, the Battler is invisible. But only during gameplay...
If I do a battle test, it shows up
