Summary

I've been out of the "game" for a while and am working on a project. Having trouble remebering how to have one event start, then have another event take over. I have included some pictures. I want the crystal to start before we see our party; it runs some scrolling text then moves to the event directly below the crystal. In the second picture I have the setting in place for the event to run, but it does not want to take over here. I have tried Autorun and parallel...

I've been out of the "game" for a while and am working on a project. Having trouble remebering how to have one event start, then have another event take over.

I have included some pictures. I want the crystal to start before we see our party; it runs some scrolling text then moves to the event directly below the crystal.

In the second picture I have the setting in place for the event to run, but it does not want to take over here. I have tried Autorun and parallel triggers.

I thought there was an older command to have an event take over, but can not seem to find it (might be from the older 2000 series.
