Hi everybody, I'm new to RPG maker VX Ace, and I've been having a bit of an issue with my switches. So after Eric meets Natalie I have a section where it cuts away to another map for a brief little cutscene. To get this to work correctly, I Transferred Player, and switched Transparency to On, as I didn't want him to be present in the scene. The main body of text is on the event in the screen where they met, and once it's finished, the switch is trigger that makes the bad guy Transparency Off, so that he can walk onto screen and attack one of the people there. I did this because the screen scrolls up past where he would be stood, and I wanted the text to finish, and for him to then walk into view.

This all works fine, but the problem arises when I introduce a second switch. When the bad guy approaches the characters on screen, there is a slash sfx and I wanted her to fall down. I have it set up so that once his movement finishes, it turns on switch 2. However, for some reason, whenever I place Switch 2, the character who is attacked is also Transparent. Even though the there is nothing saying this character should be invisible. Once or twice the bad guy has walked up to her, attacked, and then she becomes visible, and I don't know why. Any ideas???
