Hello, so over a year ago I created a Demo for a game I was working on that I cared very deeply for. Hello, so over a year ago I created a Demo for a game I was working on that I cared very deeply for. (The project was in RPG Maker VX Ace)
I posted the exported file in my Dropbox for other people to play while I worked on the game itself.
Needless to say, while I was working on it my Hard Drive crashed and I lost every working version of the game. (before you ask, no I didn't have any backed up copies of the game anywhere else... I was stupid, and confident something like that wouldn't happen back then...) In my rage of loosing everything dear to me I forgot about the exported files on my dropbox.
Fast forward to right now, within the past few weeks I have found many of my old game files on my dropbox, but one was missing. Paradox Demo. I remembered I had put it in the "shared" section of Dropbox and what do you know, there it is. The exported Demo of Paradox (My game). Since then I have played it many times and found quite a few thing I messed up on, including one game-breaking glitch. (Yeah... I have no idea how I didn't notice that way back when.)
Point of this story?:
How can I get a working, editable version of Paradox, from the exported files I currently have?
If you need any more information feel free to ask. I'll probably be here for a while. ^.^
