Hey good people of the etherwebs. It has been a few years since I've used RM having moved on to other programs back in college. Now that I'm back it all seems a tad easier than the first time I logged in heart racing, head spinning and not having a clue what I was doing. Here's the scenario:

As you can see I have my event (highlighted in red) and the player (in blue)

Now everything on the technical first page runs smoothly. You touch her, she says what she's supposed to. What I am trying to do from this point is have a variable counter, so that every time you talk to her after that there is a constant of 1 being added to her counter, and when it reaches 6 (six times to 7 in all you have to talk to her) this new event happens:

Granted I have the counter at 8 I've noticed but it still doesnt' work anyway. As you can see the switch that was activated on the previous page (now highlighted in red) is supposed cause the activation of the constant counter (in orange) which in turn is supposed to get to "8" and cause the event to happen, in blue. Problem is that the event doesn't happen. I have everything in conditional branches which is the way I used to do this sort of thing. But for some reason, I'm missing a step or two. Any help would be appreciated
