Summary

I'm not to fond of the battle system that is currently on RPG maker Vx ace. the encounters was alright for pokemon and other games like it, but i feel it doesnt feel right in this game. maybe it depends on the type of game your making but i don't like it. Is there a way to change it?

What i was looking at is the turn based battle, which give each character a certain amount of tiles to move, which was their movement

A lot like SHINING FORCE. see image below

can that be changed at all? of is the battle system a core part of the RPG maker?
