hello all I have recently tried parallax mapping and when it comes to forests I find myself having no complaints However I find myself at a loss trying to recreate other stuff such as buildings or rivers even mountains does anyone have a few pointers to help me I run gimp but I do struggle with copying certain things as tools and patterns. I would really find any article on parallaxing rather useful I have looked on google and watched a few youtube vids but they lack sound and do...

However I find myself at a loss trying to recreate other stuff such as buildings or rivers even mountains
does anyone have a few pointers to help me I run gimp but I do struggle with copying certain things as tools and patterns.
I would really find any article on parallaxing rather useful I have looked on google and watched a few youtube vids but they lack sound and do not really cover what would happen if what they did does not work, for example having trouble with patterns and brushes.
I have attached some files to show you what level I am at with Parralaxing in hopes that may help with what information i am given.
