Hello!

I am having a terrible issue with RPG Maker VX Ace...

I made a parallax map of a library (33 X 35) and whenever I set the starting position for the player, the player doesn't show up there when I am testing out the game. Instead, it shows up in a different place and doesn't move around properly (for example, can't walk over tiles I have set to allow movement, and on the contrary, walks over tiles that are not set to allow movement). This is really frustrating me and I can't seem to solve it! 

EDIT: (From a reply of mine) I have noticed something! When I shorten the map from (33 x 35) to (33 x 13), the player appears in the position I want it to appear in! What the...I don't know what's going on. The player appears in a different position if I increase the height! :/ I have no idea how to fix that...

And it's the same no matter where I set the player, the player starts off at some other position and doesn't move around with respect to the tiles! (walking where shouldn't be walking and vice versa).
