Summary

The screen shake in default MV is just side-to-side movement that looks, frankly, pretty lame...it gives the appearance of the camera operator being drunk more than it does the screen shaking from an impact. I found this plugin that has a much better visual, but it uses sound effect calls to incorporate the shakes into set places within animations. This isn't what I want, as I'd like functions I can call from within action sequences to make things look more dramatic. I also found one from @TheoAllen that looks similar,...

I also found one from @TheoAllen that looks similar, but one of the posters in the thread said it doesn't work in the battle screen, which is specifically where I want to use it.

I could take both of those and figure out how to write what I want, but I figured I'd ask first whether someone has already written it, and I just didn't see it in my search.
