On a fresh project I try

<custom damage>normal formula + 200</custom damage>and

<custom damage>200</custom damage>and

<custom damage: 200>on a Slime and give them 999 HP (instead of 100) and set a skill's normal damage formula to 100

and I can't get anything to work.

Anything including "normal formula" will make the damage 100, and anything without that will make the skill have no damage

I also tried adding ' ' and ; to the notetag formula as well.

Here's a demo if need be.

What's an example of this working, or, is there something wrong?

Funny, because I can't seem to get

to work, either
