Summary
So, I'm making a game for my brother. I'm rather new to RPG Maker VX Ace, but I have a little knowledge of it. Currently, in the overworld map I'm trying to get a character to join his party. I made sure to have the event appear in the same layer as the character, made up the dialog, and gave the event a graphic, but when I playtest it, there's no event. What am I doing wrong?
