I am creating an opening cutscene that consists of one long event. In the event the main character (as an event icon) completes a series of tasks and has some automatic dialog with an npc, and as he goes to leave another npc enters through the door where he first begins.
My problem is that I dont know how to add a new npc to a map using the event I already have running. The NPC's icon is not already on the map when the event begins, and I would prefer to keep it that way if at all possible.
I have seen a few suggestions on here already, but have some issues with them. The main suggestion seems to be to play with the transparency settings of the npc's icon so that he does not appear to "enter" the map until I turn the transparency off. My issues with this are that I find that in the brief second before the event officially autoruns you can see the NPC, and then he disappears. It's a small issue, but my OCD wont accept that. The other issue is that the door the npc is meant to enter through is already occupied by the event itself, so I cannot simply place a new event there and then call upon it using the main event.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
I am also attaching an image of my map in case that helps. The door I want the npc to enter from is the bottom left one with the event.
