Summary
I am working on an event where to NPCs walk toward each other before having a conversation. I've tried many ways to make it work right, but no matter what I do the one NPC will not walk as far as he is should. I am controlling both NPCs through one event in an effort to simplify it. I did not use the wait function on the move route because I want both of them to walk at the same time. (Maybe this is the problem, however?) Here is page...

And where they end up. The girl runs correctly, but no matter what I've tried (even when I was trying to make them run as two events), the boy WILL NOT go further than this, though clearly the move route commands him to. (The yellow circle is where he starts.)
