So i'm really new to this whole making a game thing... i was quite lost when i downloaded this off steam cause there were no tutorials added with it unlike some stuff i've gotten before so i was trudging on through and miraculously figured out how to 'enter' a village... then decided 'hey lets do a starting scene and get party member!!' so trudging my way through that i managed to get it working how i want it to (figuring out how to use 'dolls' to place hold for my...

and i've kinda hit a wall in my self-learning, or its just really annoying me enough to actually ask for help...
i get to the end of my 'scene' and have my 'white mage' join my MC, again after a sorta lengthy event and an inbetween battle... but soon as the event is over and i have her following me... both the new party member and MC are frozen... i can move them around but there's no 'walking' animation and i have no idea why? when i did the thing for starting 'entering the village' scene my MC could still move around/animation and all like normal... and if i'm wondering if this is a glitch for adding the party member as that's the only thing i can figure out...
