Summary
I have an event set up that the player needs to sacrifice a certain amount of MP to activate a switch - I have another event very similar to this that works fine (the difference is that this one uses HP instead). When the player has used the MP switch a sound starts playing and looping very quickly - creating a very large amount of lag. Fixed my problem - turns out that I had a common event that activates with switch 10 being on.
