Heyo dear community! To be honest I'm not sure if this Plugin isn't already existing, but I searched the forums and wasn't able to find something, so if I missed it I'm sorry and would appreciate it if someone could give me a link! Heyo dear community!

To be honest I'm not sure if this Plugin isn't already existing, but I searched the forums and wasn't able to find something, so if I missed it I'm sorry and would appreciate it if someone could give me a link!

Now to my request: I'd like to add certain self effects to skills, effects that would apply on the caster instead of the target. A simple example: a skill called "Enraging Slash" which deals extra damage, but has the slight chance to inflict the negative status "Rage" on the caster, a form of risk-reward so to say. I know this was possible in Ace using a certain script, but I haven't found anything like it for MV yet.

The script I mean can be found here https://d289qh4hsbjjw7.cloudfront.net/rpgmaker-20130522223546811/files/RPGMakerVXAceTutorial3point5.zip (it's part 3.5 of the Ace Tutorial on the RPG Maker's own website). With the script, you could just add effects normally and then add <self effect: 1> in the Notes field so the Maker would know that Effect Number 1 would apply on the user, not the target.

I'd be very happy if someone could help me in this matter
