I'm using Victor's ATB Battle system, and I've encountered a problem, where in a battle I've evented someone to join mid-battle, say some dialogue, a conditional branch to detect whether or not an environment was changed, and a remove immortality state of the enemy. Now, I've tested it a few times, and I thought that the dialogue was the main problem, but only when coupled with everything else. But then I moved the dialogue to another event page that adds some enemies, and it didn't happen. So then, I created...

I'm using Victor's ATB Battle system, and I've encountered a problem, where in a battle I've evented someone to join mid-battle, say some dialogue, a conditional branch to detect whether or not an environment was changed, and a remove immortality state of the enemy. Now, I've tested it a few times, and I thought that the dialogue was the main problem, but only when coupled with everything else. But then I moved the dialogue to another event page that adds some enemies, and it didn't happen. So then, I created an item that damages the enemy just enough to procc both event pages at once, and my new conclusion is that it takes too long to process, and disrupts the way the battle system computes time or something.

Is there a way to fix it so, the battle system doesn't break down every time I use a semi-complicated event page?
