A plugin to tweak the battle log (the text that appears in battle narrating the actions that occur). Mostly to make it only advance when the player presses the accept button.

Features
  • You can make the battle log use a window (that uses your windowskin), like messages and menus
  • You can change this window's width, as well as the X and Y position
  • Alternatively, you can use the default black semi-transparent rectangle. You can change its opacity and color
  • You can make the battle log only advance when the player presses accept
  • Alternatively, you can keep it automatic, but change the speed
How to Use
No additional files are needed. Just put it in your plugins folder.
All the configurations about the battle log are set in the plugin manager.

Important note
When using "wait for input" mode, this plugin waits for every step: after the attack animation has taken place, the player must press accept for it to advance again. I've gotten the suggestion that it'd be more intuitive if at least these two actions went together, but I'm afraid I'm not smart enough for that, haha. I still find this plugin ideal for me, so it's staying like this. Feel free to edit if you can figure it out and you dislike this quirk!

Terms and Credits
  • You can use this plugin for any project, commercial or not.
  • You must credit me as CeciDibujera (or FriKitty and CeciDibujera, both of them, never "FriKitty" only. But it's shorter with just the one, haha)
  • You must also credit "BF Project".
  • You can edit this plugin as much as you like, as long as you add in the description somewhere that you did.
  • You can also look at the code and see how I did some things to make your own plugin that does things differently. In that case, there is no need to credit me. This is how people learn!
Also, I hope it's okay to mention that this is a plugin I made because I will be using it in my project, B&F! Which is a free game(s) and I invite you to take a look.
